We’re expanding!
Backyard Permaculture Guild is getting bigger! We have created a new guild node in Sonoma County. Helen, BPGs plant person and expert in all things design, drought tolerant, native and food production and Ethan of Waterfolk, expert in all things greywater and rainwater catchement, will be taking on clients up north. You can hire both of them or just one. We also come with a fun cadre of hardworking tradespeople who work for us to help transform your yard or land.
Helen Cowart
Helen is one of the Backyard Permaculture Guild Founding guild members and has been designing beautiful, resilient gardens using natives, climate appropriate and food producing plants for over 15 years. She is excited to bring the work of BPG up north from the bay where she has been working, to wilder, greener land of Sonoma County.
Ethan Hirsch-Tauber
CEO and Founder of Waterfolk, Ethan is The Backyard Permaculture Guilds’ Sonoma County based Greywater and Rainwater catchement expert! His passion for ecological resilience and wise water use is infectious and he brings a wealth of water experience and skills to each job.
